Electric Drive Technologies has the finest technical know-how in designing, integrating, and optimising the overall electric drive system to achieve the higher power density and highest efficiency. We combine electric motors, inverters, gearboxes into one single compact unit, from our 3-in-1 electric powertrains.
A comprehensive thermal management system of these powertrains is paramount, as it is the key to achieving high power density and efficiency. We have successfully deployed water, oil, or a combination of both oil and water-cooling circuits to a variety of high-performance electric powertrains.
Electric motors having power densities above 10kW/kg have been successfully developed for clients. With an 800V system architecture that comprises a high voltage motor and silicon carbide-based inverter, we can achieve a combined peak efficiency of up to 98%.
